Business Spotlight Application
We invite businesses and organizations in Calgary to apply to be featured in a Pride In Business community spotlight. Applications are reviewed quarterly.
What are Community Spotlights?
Community spotlights feature a professional, entrepreneur, or a business that is a part of the LGBTQ+ community (whether as a self-identifying member, ally and/or supporter). The intent is to help provide more visibility within our community, allowing community members to better support our local LGBTQ+ professionals and businesses.
The Community Spotlights are featured in any of the following formats, online as a web article, a video interview or as a Community Spotlight Event (described below).
What are Community Spotlight Events?
Community Spotlight Events are held quarterly. These Community Spotlights Events could feature a single and/or group of businesses, professionals, entrepreneurs, or trailblazers in our community. Events may be held on-site at the featured organization (should the venue be suitable), or at a selected central venue (such as a restaurant, pub, or other venue space).
We typically anticipate 50–150 in attendance, with up to 400 attendees at our larger Pride event.
Pride in Business Community Spotlights are gear towards providing businesses, and professionals a platform to showcase what they do best. This can include physical events hosted at your facilities or media featured on our digital platforms.
